Professional Arborist Tree Trimmers at Work

Professional Arborist Tree Trimmers at Work

Hire a Professional Arborist

It was time to trim some limb hazards from our wooded yard so we hired licensed tree trimmers to trim our trees. It was fascinating to watch these professional arborists at work, so got off the computers and took our morning cuppa coffee outside to enjoy the show.

Along the way we spontaneously shot some video of the process. It will give you an idea but can’t do justice to the spectacular skill and flow of work involved. The arborists also shared some tips on tree health as well as their choice of chainsaws.

We can now rest well knowing the old dead limbs have been cropped, so no danger of them falling on our deck or home.

Why You Need to Hire Professional Tree Trimmers

The number one reason to go pro is safety. You do not want amateurs climbing and sawing trees on your property without proper training, equipment and insurance.

Unfortunately, there’s more than one news story of thieves pretending to be tree trimmers.[1]https://www.thetimesherald.com/story/news/2016/01/06/thieves-posing-tree-trimmers-target-elderly-columbus-twp-man/78350622/[2]https://www.fox26houston.com/news/thieves-pretending-to-be-tree-trimmers-target-elderly-residents/

So check references and go with reputable, well-reviewed professional arborist tree trimmers. Not only can they get the job done but they can also advise you on the overall health and maintenance of your trees.

Hi-Tech Tree Service

If you’re in the Triad region of North Carolina, you’re in luck.

We discovered Beaver Tree Company when they were doing work at a neighbor’s house. It was clear they were focused, efficient and professional, so we hired them to trim dead limbs from some of our trees.

Beaver arrived early with a full crew and all kinds of equipment. They’re fast, efficient, safe, friendly and very professional, and cleaned up afterward completely, even blowing the entire driveway of all debris.

Ask Your Tree Trimmer for the Wood Chips

Now as gardeners, we love wood chips for mulch. If you have a place for a wood chip pile, ask your tree trimmers to dump your load there. We’ve made fantastic use of ours.

Wood Chip Uses

  • Landscape mulch
  • Garden mulch for plant beds
  • Pathways and trails
  • Dog pens

You can read more on mulch in this article, where you can also learn clever ways to get free mulch.

What Chainsaws do the Pros Use?

The Beaver crew prefer two different chainsaw brands:

You can see some of that for yourself in this video. Apologies for the voiceover parts that are inaudible due to the noise. The main parts you can’t hear is narrating how they used a claw machine to pick up big logs and feed it into their wood chipper.

Great work by Jason, Jackson, Matt, and the rest of their crew at Beaver Tree Company.

Windy Woods Serenade

Once again the voiceover isn’t really audible, so please pardon that, but we wanted to share this magical moment from our corner of of the woods. The loud popping sounds you hear are hickory nuts falling onto the deck and roof.

Wishing you healthy trees and nature’s solace!
